Cancer Care Solution
Cancer Care Solution (CCS) offers a seamless experience for members facing a new or changing cancer diagnosis. From nurse navigators and second opinions to spiritual support, CCS provides clarity, compassion, and up to $1,250 in savings—so no one walks this path alone.

Who qualifies for CCS?
If you have a new cancer diagnosis or a change in treatment for a current cancer diagnosis, we want you to call us at 800-791-6225 or email us at cancersolutions@CHMinistries.org.
Does participating in CCS cost me anything extra?
You can participate in Cancer Care Solution at no additional cost. In fact, you can save money with CCS—members who use a Cancer Care Solutions provider will receive a $1,250 credit that they can apply to their unit’s Personal Responsibility amount for the year.
What do I need to participate in CCS?
In order to determine if your diagnosis qualifies for Cancer Care Solution participation, we’ll need the following:
- Membership information
- Confirmation of diagnosis
- Medical records
- Sharing request forms
- Estimates, if available
- Treatment plan, if available
- Any information on treatment that has already taken place

Is CCS available for CHM Bronze, CHM Silver, and CHM SeniorShare™ participants?
If you're a CHM Silver or CHM Bronze member, please reach out to our team to discuss options available for you.
Because Medicare participants receive lower medical costs by using a Medicare provider, CCS is not available for CHM SeniorShare™. While CCS cannot function in conjunction with CHM SeniorShare™, you still receive great perks while lowering your monthly contributions as a CHM SeniorShare™ participant.
Will I still have a Personal Responsibility if I participate in CCS?
Through CCS, you'll receive a $1,250 credit toward your unit’s Personal Responsibility (PR) each year you use a CCS provider for an eligible cancer diagnosis.
What if my cancer diagnosis doesn’t qualify for CCS participation?
If your cancer incident is eligible per the CHM Guidelines but doesn’t qualify for Cancer Care participation, your medical bills will be shared through the normal CHM sharing process as outlined in the CHM Guidelines.
Can I use CCS if I live in Maryland?
Due to state regulations, Maryland members are unable to participate in solutions where CHM directly pays the provider.
